After late evening arrival in Delhi, meet an IHPL representative who helps you with an assisted transfer to your pre-booked hotel for an overnight stay.
Post breakfast, depart by road for Agra. Afternoon arrival in Agra and check-in your hotel. Later, leave for sightseeing. Enjoy a ride in a battery operated van to reach the Taj Mahal, one of the Seven Wonders of the World. It was erected by Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan in the memory of his beloved wife Mumtaz Mahal. The next visit is to the Red Fort, Tomb of Itmad-ud-Daulah, also known as Baby Taj. It was constructed by Empress Noor Jahan, in the memory of her father. Overnight in Agra.
After breakfast, begin driving to Jaipur- the Pink City of Rajasthan. Midway, halt at Fatehpur Sikri – the old deserted city of the Mughal capital, erected by Emperor Akbar in the second half of the 16thcentury. On arrival, check –in your hotel. The rest of the day is free for leisure activities- interact with the locals, relish local delicacies, explore the surroundings on foot etc. Night stay in Jaipur.
Have breakfast in the hotel and leave for sightseeing. The first visit of the day is the magnificent Amber Fort, located on the outskirts of the main city. Enjoy an elephant ride to go up to its entrance. Once inside, explore its structural elements such as Ganesh Pol, Sila Devi Temple, Sheesh Mahal etc. After lunch, proceed for sightseeing covering City Palace and Museum – the former seat of the Maharaja of Jaipur, Jantar Mantar – the Astronomical Observatory and Hawa Mahal, also known as The Palace of Winds – a beautiful structure erected in 1799 by Pratap Singh. In the evening, visit a rug factory to observe the women doing intricate embroidery work or a gem factory to observe gem cutting and polishing process. Overnight stay.
After breakfast on day 5, leave by road for Pushkar, well-known for its annual Pushkar Fair. Once you reach, complete the check-in formalities at your hotel. Visit Ana Sagar Lake, an artificial lake- built by Anaji Chauhan, the grandfather of Prithvi Raj Chauhan as well as Akbar's Palace and Museum – a magnificent citadel erected by Emperor Akbar in the year 1570. Stay overnight.
On the 6th day of your tour, visit the Brahma Temple, known as Jagatpita Brahma Mandir, constructed in the 14th century. Later, leave by road for Ranthambore National Park, one of the largest national parks in the northern region of India. Ranthambore is home to a large population of the big cats. Once you arrive, complete the check-in formalities at your jungle lodge. Later, leave for tiger tracking. Overnight in the jungle lodge.
Indulge in the morning and evening safaris in the park. During the safari, you may spot animal and bird species such as Indian wild boar, spotted deer, tiger, Sambar deer, along with 270 avifauna species. Stay overnight in the jungle lodge.
Enjoy an early morning safari into the park. Post breakfast, leave for Kota, the largest industrial town, on the banks of the river Chambal. This town is extremely well- known for its saris as well as a miniature school of art, specializing in hunting scenes. On arrival, complete the check-in formalities at your hotel. Later, leave for a city tour. Visit Jag Mandir- situated on an island in Kishore Sagar Lake that was built by one of the queens of Kota. Enjoy a boat ride here. Later, visit the Govt. Museum. The last visit of the day is to the popular gardens of Chambal and Chatter Bilas. Overnight in Kota.
After breakfast on day 9, leave by road for Chittorgarh. On the way, halt at Bundi. Visit the Taragarh Fort or Star Fort – a beautiful white fort that is now in a dilapidated state and Chattra Sagar – a village community gallery where miniature murals are displayed that depict instances from 'Raaslila' - the Radha-Krishna story. The last visit in Bundi is Sukh Mahal - located on the banks of Lake Jait Sagar, this fort has beautiful white-marble royal Cenotaphs. Proceed to Chittorgarh. After check-in, visit the Chittorgarh Fort – the largest fort in India. Leave for Bijaipur Castle for an overnight stay.
After breakfast, depart by road for Udaipur. On arrival, check-in your hotel. The rest of the day is free for leisure activities- interact with the locals, relish the local delicacies, explore the surroundings on foot. In the evening, you can visit the local bazaar to shop for souvenirs. Overnight in Udaipur.
After breakfast, leave for a city tour. The first visit of the day is the magnificent City Palace. Admire the marvelous rooms with mirrored walls and ivory doors, colored glass windows and inlaid marble balconies and the well-known Peacock Courtyard. Later, explore the remaining attractions. Overnight in Udaipur.
After breakfast, hit the road to Kumbalgarh. On the way, stop to visit the Ranakpur Temples, built during the 15th century. The main temple dedicated to the first Jain Tirthankar, Adinath has 200 pillars, none of which are same. On arriving in Kumbalgarh, complete the check-in formalities at your hotel. The rest of the day is free for leisure activities- explore the surroundings on foot, taste the local renditions, interact with the locals etc. Stay overnight.
In the morning, after breakfast, leave for Jodhpur. On arrival, check-in at your pre-booked hotel. Later, leave for visiting the magnificent Mehrangarh Fort – perched 400 feet above the city level, this fort is one of Rajasthan's highest forts. It was erected by Rao Jodha- the chief of the Rathore clan of Rajputs during the 15th century. In the evening, visit Umaid Bhawan Palace Museum – originally a palace constructed by Maharaja Umaid Singh. Some of its portion has been transformed into a museum. Stay Overnight.
In the morning, go for a jeep safari into the nearby Bishnoi tribal villages. You get a glimpse of the rich culture and true essence of India. Observe the lifestyle of the local people. Overnight in Jodhpur.
Have breakfast on day 15 and hit the road to Jaisalmer. On arrival, check-in at your hotel. The rest of the day is free for leisure activities – interact with the locals, explore the surroundings on foot, relish local delicacies etc. Overnight in Jaisalmer.
Enjoy a hearty breakfast and leave for city tour of The Golden City, located in the heart of the Great Indian Thar Desert. The list of the attractions may include Jaisalmer Fort, Salim Singh Ki Haveli (Moti Mahal), Patwa Haveli etc. In the evening, enjoy a camel ride in the vast desert. Stay overnight in the SWISS Tent Camp.
On day 17, have breakfast and continue with the camel safari. Arrive in Bikaner. It is quite popular as the Camel Country and is known for offering the best camel ride experiences. You cross Nagaur, founded by Naga people. Once you reach Bikaner, complete the check-in formalities at your hotel for an overnight stay.
Once you have breakfast, leave for sightseeing in Bikaner. Visit the camel-breeding farm - the only one in Asia. The next visit is to the well-known Karni Mata Temple, dedicated to Karni Mata, a reincarnation of Goddess Durga. The temple built during the 15th century, completely in marble, was commissioned by Ganga Singh, the former ruler of Bikaner. Later, leave for Mandawa by road. On arrival, check-in your hotel for an overnight stay.
After breakfast on the 19th day of the tour, indulge in sightseeing. Take a walking tour of the beautiful painted 'havelis' that were former residences of some of the country's leading business families. Do not miss visiting Lakshminarayan Ladia Haveli, Chowkhani Haveli, Mohahanlal Saraf Haveli, Gulab Rai Ladia Haveli and Bhagchandika Haveli. Notice the striking frescoes. Also visit the villages of Mahansar and Dundlod, interacting with the local village chiefs. Later, depart by road for Delhi. On arrival, check-in your hotel for an overnight stay.
Have breakfast today and leave for visiting the attractions of Old and New Delhi. The list of Old Delhi attractions includes Raj Ghat, Jama Masjid and Red Fort. Later, enjoy a rickshaw ride from Jama Masjid to Chandni Chowk. Post lunch, visit New Delhi attractions including Humayun's Tomb and the Qutub Minar Complex. Drive past Rajpath, India Gate, Parliament House, the President's Residence and the Diplomatic Enclave. Overnight in Delhi.
After breakfast, the rest of the day is at leisure. Explore the city and finish last minute shopping by visiting the well-known markets. In the evening, attend a farewell dinner and a cultural performance. Get transferred to the airport to board a flight for your onward journey.
