After a delicious breakfast at the resort, you can spend the day however you like. You can relax on blue the pristine beach and watch the crystal sky and clear waters or dive into the cool waters to enjoy snorkelling, scuba diving, water polo, or surfing. Start day 4 of your Sri Lanka Maldives tour with a hearty breakfast. Check out from the resort and proceed towards the airport via speedboat to catch a flight for your next destination, Sri Lanka. Once you arrive at the airport in Colombo, get transferred to Kandy. It is a large city in central Sri Lanka, which is known for its tea plantations, biodiverse rainforest, sacred Buddhist sites, and more.

En route, visit Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage. It is the first and only elephant orphanage in the world built to feed, nurse and house young elephants who got lost or abandoned by their mothers. Here, you can watch the baby elephants being fed milk with gigantic bottles or being bathed in the rivers that flow nearby.

Once you arrive in Kandy, complete the check-in formalities and later, enjoy a cultural show. Afterwards, spend the overnight at the hotel in Kandy.

Wake up to a delicious breakfast, get ready, and embark on a city tour of Kandy. This tour will cover the major tourist attractions of Kandy like the Temple of Tooth Relic, which is a Buddhist temple located in the royal palace complex of the erstwhile king of Kandy and is a place of pilgrimage for Sri Lankans. Next, visit the Royal Botanical Garden, which displays the world’s best collection of orchids.

Kandy is a cultural sanctuary where many legends, folklores, and traditions are still kept alive. This place is also known for its handicraft industry, which is mainly focused on items of wood, brass, and silver. Among these attractions is Esala Perahera when a replica of the casket enclosing the Tooth is taken in procession for ten glittering nights in July/August by exotically costumed dancers, drummers, and about 100 elephants.

Once the tour is complete, return to the hotel and spend a comfortable overnight stay.

It is the capital of Sri Lanka and is known for stunning Buddhist temples, Hindu temples, mosques, the historic Wolfendhal Church, the Ceramic Corporation, and ODEL, the famous shopping centre.

Upon reaching, check-in the hotel and rest. Freshen up and proceed for a city shopping tour of Colombo. Later, return to the hotel and hop onto the bed for a sound sleep.
