Upon your arrival in Ahmedabad, check into the hotel. Later, visit the Gandhi Ashram next to the banks of the River Sabarmati. This is the place from where Mahatma Gandhi set out on his Dandi March. It has now been converted into a museum. Here you can see the intricate carvings at the Hate Singh Jain Temple and marvel at the grand architecture of the Akshardham Temple. Stay overnight in the hotel.
Post breakfast in the morning, check out from the hotel and leave by road for Jamnagar. On the way, visit the ancient and beautifully carved steep well. In the evening, you can visit the Bala Hanuman Temple. It is listed in the Guinness Book of World Records for the perpetual chanting of 'Shri Ram, Jai Ram, Jai Jai Ram' by its devotees since 1964. Stay overnight in Jamnagar.
Post breakfast in the morning, check out from the hotel and leave by road for Dwarka. Later, check into the hotel and after some relax proceed to enjoy local Sightseeing.
Dwarkadhish Temple- Having a history of over 2500 years, this Chalukya style of architecture is a temple dedicated to Lord Krishna. The five storied main shrine is grand and marvelous in itself and needs no further highlights.
Nageshwara Jyotirlinga - One of the 12 famous self-existent temples, this Temple too houses a curious myth about its origin. The giant, beautiful and artistic statue of Lord Shiva mesmerizes tourists and pilgrims alike with its aesthetic appeal.
Bet Dwarka- Located around 30 km from the main town of Dwarka, Bet Dwarka is a small island and was the main port in the region before the development of Okha. While the island is enclosed by a few temples, white sand beach and coral reefs, the beach is also popular among tourists for its marine life, sea excursions, camping and picnics.
Rukmani Temple -A small structure is an important shrine dedicated to Krishna's beloved consort, Rukmani Devi. Not as majestically gigantic , this shrine is an architectural masterpiece in itself.
Now come back to Hotel for an overnight stay at Dwarka.
In the morning, after breakfast, travel to Somnath. On the way, visit the famous Kirti Mandir in Porbandar, the Haveli in which Mahatma Gandhi was born. It has been converted into a museum. Also, visit the Sudama Temple, built to honor the friendship between Krishna and Sudama. Once in Somnath, go to the Somnath Temple and Bhalka Tirth Temple, where Lord Krishna is said to have been accidentally shot in the foot. Stay overnight in Somnath.
Post breakfast in the morning, check out from the hotel and drive towards Gir. Known as the only forest reserve in Asia for housing wild Lions, Sasan Gir is famed place for Lion sightseeing. Other animal species include the Sambhar, Spotted Deer, Nilgai and the Chausingha (the world's only four-horned antelope). Even crocodiles can be seen in the reservoir and rivers flowing through the sanctuary. In the afternoon, go for a safari in the National Park. Stay overnight in Gir.
Post Breakfast you will check out from the Hotel and drive to Gir which shall take approx 2 Hrs by road. Check in at Hotel of Diu and evening free for your leisure at beach. Stay overnight at the hotel.
Post breakfast, leave by road for Ahmedabad, and later continue journey towards the airport.
