Your 15 days Cycling Tours to North East India start with arrival at Dimapur Airport. You will be transferred to Kohima, the capital city of Nagaland by car (2.5 hours). En route, stop at the local vegetable market, and then, continue your drive. Upon arrival, check in to the hotel and spend the night.

Today, you will embark on a cycling tour from Maram Khullen to Willing Village. This will be a gentle ride uphill and downhill. On the way, make a stop at Sangkhumai Village and enjoy a cup of hot tea.
Afterward, continue to ride 4 to 5 km and have lunch at Willong Village. Partake in traditional fishing with local people for a fun time. Check into the homestay and sleep overnight in Willong Village.

Day 04 of your North East bike trip will start with a healthy breakfast. Say goodbye to Willong Village and start cycling towards Zuimi. After the first 15 km, you will make a stop at Yankhullen Village (1900 m). Hike up to the village for about 1 km. Once reached, meet and interact with the locals. Afterward, move forward to Bake Village (1886 m) located 8 km on a gentle slope. Explore this beautiful place on foot.
Later, bike for 12 km to reach Zuimi Village. Have lunch on arrival. Explore Haraka Church/Temple and their abandoned site. Check in to the homestay or tent and enjoy a sound sleep.

After breakfast, check out from the stay and head towards Benreu Village. Your first stop will be after 20 km at Tangpung Village (1426 m). Take your time to explore the surroundings and later, continue to ride 13 km downhill and 8 km uphill to Peren Town (1363 m).
Enjoy lunch on arrival, rest, and then bike for 22 km to Pedi Village (1568 m). Stop to explore the area. Bike for 12 km on a rough path to Benreu Village. About 4 km to the village will be rough, so bike safely. Check-in to your stay (homestay or community cottage) and enjoy a comfy sleep.

Wake up to the sounds of nature and start the day with a fulfilling breakfast. Make your way to go hiking to Mt. Pauna. It is the 3rd highest mountain in Nagaland whose summit is located 2486 meters above sea level. The hike is for about 4 to 5 km on the uneven path. Enjoy a picnic and lunch here and hike back the same path to Benreu Village. In the evening, you will have a set of traditional shows lined up after which you can enjoy a restful sleep at Benreu Village.

On day 07 of your cycling tour in North East India, have breakfast and check out. Continue with your cycling expedition from Benreu to Dzuleke Village. About 30 km on winding roads, stop at Poilwa Village (1900 m) for lunch. After this, you can choose to either hike to Dzuleke Village through the jungle, which is an easy to moderate hike for 2 hours, or choose to cycle for 15 km to Dzuleke Village, about 5 km uphill. On arrival, check-in, and overnight in a homestay.

Post a hearty breakfast, check out from the homestay, and leave for Khonoma, India's first green village. Bike for 5 km uphill and feed "Mithun", the state animal with salt. After this, continue riding for about 10 km and stop for a nature walk. Witness a variety of wild edible vegetables, listen to the chirping of birds, and study the alder trees.
Check in to the homestay in Khonoma Village and have lunch. You will have plenty of time to relax and spend time with the locals. In the evening, witness the indigenous games performed by local youth. Overnight in Khonoma Village.

On day 09 of your Northeast cycling tour, have breakfast and check out. Start your bike riding tour from Khonoma to Tuophema, one of the ancient heritage villages of Nagaland. It is located at an altitude of 1490 m above sea level and has mixed evergreen forests, paddy fields, and farmlands. Bike for 20 km to Kohima (1444 m) on a gentle slope and then climb up.
You will reach Jakahama Village, 18 km from Kohima. Have lunch and continue the ride downhill to Tuophema Village for 20 km. The next 20 km will be half uphill on a gentle slope. Ride from Chiephobozou Village (1393 m) to Botsa Junction (1490 m). After 4 km from Botsa, you will reach Tuophema Village (1 km uphill and then 3 km downhill).
Complete the check-in formalities at the Tuophema Community Cottage and spend an overnight stay.

Start the day with breakfast, check out, and leave for Mokokchung. It is located at an altitude of 1325 m above sea level and is one of the best places to see in the North East India cycling tours.
