Char Dhams are four holy places of Hindi pilgrimages, which are nestled amidst the lofty Himalayan peaks. The Char Dham circuit consists of foul sacred sites namely Gangotri, Yamunotri, Kedarnath, and Badrinath. With us, you can embark on the Char Dham Yatra from Bangalore, which will be covered in 13 days. Itinerary - Chardham Yatra - Ex Bangalore

Day 1 - Bangalore – Delhi

On the first day of the Char Dham Yatra from Bangalore, you will arrive in Delhi from Bangalore. Upon your arrival in the national capital, our tour representative will welcome you in a traditional Indian style. After this, you will have an assisted transfer to your pre-booked hotel. Complete the check-in formalities and unwind. The rest of the day is at your leisure. You can explore the local markets or spend time in your hotel room.

Relish scrumptious dinner and then doze off in your cozy room.

Day 2 - Delhi – Haridwar

Wake up to a toothsome breakfast and then complete the checkout formality. Later, proceed for Haridwar via road. Upon your arrival in Haridwar, you will have an assisted transfer to the hotel. Complete the check-in formalities and rest for a while. After refreshing yourself, you are free to explore the city. You can visit the local market and enjoy the shopping or visit the popular temples of the city.

In the evening, you can visit the Har-ki-Pauri and attend the Ganga Aarti. Also, you can take a holy bath in the sacred river. Have a delicious dinner at the hotel and enjoy a restful sleep.

Day 3 - Haridwar – Barkot / Kharsali

Greet the day with the delicious breakfast, check from the hotel, and proceed towards Barkot/ Kharsali. Enjoy the scenic drive through Dehradun via Mussoorie. En route, you will stop at Kempty Falls. After spending quality time amidst the serene ambiance, continue with your journey towards Barkot/ Kharsali.

On your arrival, you will be transferred to the hotel. Complete the check-in formality and relax in the hotel. The rest of the time is at your leisure. In the evening, savor the scrumptious dinner, then head to your room for a sound sleep.

Day 4 - Barkot / Kharsali – Yamunotri – Barkot / Kharsali

Refuel yourself with a healthy breakfast and then leave for Yamunotri. There is a 7 km trek for the temple and pilgrims can cover the distance by trek or hire a pony/palki (at your own cost). On arrival at the temple, before performing the religious rituals, you should take a bath at one of the kund. Pilgrims also cook rice in the hot water thermal springs and they take the rice home as ‘Prasad’.

After taking a bath, visit the Divya Shila and offer prayers to the rock pillar. Then visit the Yamunotri Temple procuring the blessings of Goddess Yamuna. Later trek down to the base and board the vehicle to head back to the hotel. Relish the delectable dinner, followed by a sound sleep in your cozy room.

Day 5 - Barkot / Kharsali – Uttarkashi

Start your day with a hearty meal and then check out from the hotel. Later, head towards Uttarkashi, which is nestled on the bank of the holy river Bhagirathi.

On arrival, you will have an assisted transfer to the hotel. Complete the check-in formalities and the rest of the day is at your leisure. You can explore the surroundings and spend some amidst nature.

Savor the delicious dinner and slip into your bed for a sound sleep.

Day 6 - Uttarkashi – Gangotri – Uttarkashi

Greet the day with the toothsome breakfast and head towards Gangotri early in the morning. During the drive, you will enjoy the magnificent sight of the Bhagirathi River with the enchanting backdrop of the mighty Himalayas.

On your arrival in Gangotri, you will visit the ancient temple that is situated on the bank of the River Bhagirathi. You can take a holy dip in the icy cold river and then offer prayers at the temple. After darshan at Gangotri Temple, head back to Uttarkashi. Have a delicious dinner at the hotel and enjoy a restful sleep.

Day 7 - Uttarkashi – Guptkashi

Wake up to a beautiful day and savor the hearty meal. Later, check-out from the hotel and head towards Guptkashi. En-route enjoy the breathtaking beauty of River Mandakini with the backdrop of snow-covered peaks of Chaukhamba.

On arrival in Guptkashi, you will have an assisted transfer to the hotel. Complete the check-in formalities and unwind. Later, proceed for Kedarnath Yatra registration. The rest of the time is at your leisure. You can take a stroll on the streets of Guptkashi and bask in the beauty of this enchanting place.

Return to the hotel for a splendid dinner and have a sound sleep.

Day 8 - Guptkashi – Sonprayag – Kedarnath

Begin your day with an early morning breakfast. Complete the check-out formalities and then head for Kedarnath Yatra. Our driver will drop you at Sonprayag and from there reach Gaurikund, the base of the Kedarnath Yatra trek. You can take a holy dip in the hot water pond near Gauri Temple.

You can hire a pony/ palki from Gaurikund at your own cost. There is also a helicopter facility available at Guptkashi for Kedarnath Dham, which can be booked at your own cost. On arrival at Kedarnath, head towards the accommodation and complete the check-in formalities. Take some rest and then head towards the temple for darshan. Revel in the spiritual aura and spend some time amidst the tranquil nature.

Relish your warm dinner and night halt at Kedarnath.

Day 9 - Kedarnath – Sonprayag – Guptkashi

Wake up early morning and head towards the temple for darshan. Attend the Abhishek ceremony at the temple, offer Pooja, and seek blessings.

After darshan, return to the hotel/lodge, savor delicious breakfast, and then complete the check-out formalities. Trek down to Sonprayag and then you will be transferred to Guptkashi. Complete the check-in formalities on arrival at the hotel. Take some rest and unwind. The rest of the day is at your leisure. You can choose to explore the market.

Have a delectable dinner at the hotel and enjoy a restful sleep.

Day 10 - Guptkashi – Joshimath – Badrinath

Greet your day with a beautiful sunrise and enjoy a toothsome breakfast at the hotel. After that, complete the check-out formalities and you will be transferred to Badrinath via Joshimath.

Nestled amidst the Nar and Narayan mountain ranges, Badrinath Temple looks amazing with the backdrop of towering Neelkanth Peak. Upon your arrival at Badrinath, you will have an assisted transfer to the hotel. Complete the check-in formalities and unwind. Later in the evening, visit the Badrinath Temple and attend the Aarti. Seeks blessings from the Lord Badri and spends some time amidst the spiritual ambiance.

Return to the hotel, enjoy the delicious dinner, and have a sound sleep.

Day 11 - Badrinath – Joshimath – Rudraprayag

Wake up early morning and go for a customary bath in the Tapt Kund before visiting the Badrinath Temple. Offer prayers at the temple and seek blessing. The temple is situated on the platform on the bank of River Alaknanda and Hindus perform mollifying rites for their deceased ancestors.

After darshan, returns to the hotel and savors a delicious breakfast. If time allows then you can go on the sightseeing tour to the nearby places such as Mana Village and other temples on your own.

Later, complete the check-out formalities and have an assisted transfer to Rudraprayag via Joshimath. On arrival at Rudraprayag, complete the check-in formalities at the hotel. The rest of the time is at your leisure.

Enjoy dinner at the hotel and slip into your cozy bed for a restful sleep.

Day 12 - Rudraprayag – Rishikesh – Haridwar

Greet your day with a healthy breakfast, check out from the hotel, and head towards Haridwar. En route, you will stop at Rishikesh, which is renowned as the Yoga capital of the world. Enjoy the sightseeing tour in this holy town and explore famous attractions like Laxman Jhula, Ram Jhula, Bharat Mandir, Triveni Ghat, and Sivananda Ashram.

Later in the evening, you can attend Ganga Aarti at Parmarth Ashram. Offer prayers to the Goddess Ganga and seek blessings.

Drive back to Haridwar and upon arrival, complete the check-in formalities. Enjoy dinner and have a sound sleep in your cozy room.

Day 13 - Haridwar – Delhi Departure

This morning marks the last day of the 13 days of Char Dham Yatra from Bangalore. Savor the hearty meal, check-out from the hotel, and have an assisted transfer to Delhi. On arrival to the capital city, you will be transferred to the airport/railway station for your onward journey.
