Itinerary - Chardham Yatra from Pune

Day 1 - Barkot: Embark on your journey from Haridwar

Our representative will meet you at Haridwar railway station or bus station; depending on your travel mode. You will be assisted in your transfer to the first destination which will be Barkot via Mussoorie. You will halt at Kempty Falls for some time and enjoy refreshing yourself. On arriving at Barkot, you will be heading to the hotel for checking in. Complete your formalities and rest in your room to lay off your tiredness of the entire journey. Your dinner will be served in your room.

Day 2 - Barkot: Visiting the Yamunotri temple

Have your breakfast and head for your first pilgrim destination of the Chardham Yatra- Yamunotri. From your hotel, you will be driving off to Jan Ki Chatti after which you will have to trek for 6 km to reach the temple. Take a dip in the holy water of jamnabai Kund. Offer your prayer at the temple and visit nearby attractions like Surya Kund. After completing your prayers, trek back to Jan Ki Chatti where our representative will pick you up and drop you at the hotel in Barkot. Take your scrumptious dinner and get some sleep.

Day 3 - Uttarkashi: Time to explore Uttarkashi

Have an early breakfast in your hotel at Barkot, pack your bags, and complete the check-out formalities. You will now be proceeding towards your next destination which is Uttarkashi. This small town is beautifully located on the banks of the Bhagirathi River. Upon arrival, check in to your room and freshen up. Post this, the entire day is at your leisure to spend. You can go out and enjoy exploring the town. Visit the famous Vishwanath Temple that is dedicated to Lord Shiva and is known to be one of the oldest in North India.

Post that you can also visit the Shakti Temple which is an important part of Uttarkashi. Then head to the small markets of the town and buy some souvenirs. After an eventful day, head back to your hotel, have your dinner, and get some sleep.

Time Taken: 3 hours (approximately)

Day 4 - Uttarkashi: Heading to Gangotri Temple

Have your breakfast early and proceed towards the Gangotri Temple. It is also the point from where the holy river Ganga originates. En-route, stop at the Gangnani and take a dip in the holy water. Then you will be heading towards the Harsil Valley, and finally at Gangotri. Take a dip in the holy water and join the locals and travelers in the aarti ceremony. Enjoy the positive and spiritual environment around the temple. After spending as much time as you wish, head back to your hotel in Uttarkashi. Your dinner will be served here after which it is better to catch some sleep.

Day 5 - Guptkashi: Enjoy your drive to Guptkashi

Two of the four Dhams on this trip are covered and now it is time to head for the third pious temple. For that, you will be checking out from the hotel after a filling breakfast and now will be heading towards Guptkashi. You will be driving through the breathtaking meadows and valleys. You will be crossing some amazing petite towns on your way. Take a halt at Devprayag to spot the confluence of Alaknanda and Bhagirathi. Moving forward you will be stopping at Srinagar for lunch because this is the last major town on your way. You will be stopping at Rudraprayag, then while crossing Ukhimath you will be reaching Guptkashi.

Upon arrival, you will be checking into your hotel after completing all the paperwork. Take some rest and relax for some time. The rest while your dinner is served in your room. Post that, you can either take a walk or go to sleep.

Day 6 - Kedarnath: Visiting the holy jyotirlinga

After having breakfast at the hotel, you will be dropped at Gaurikund from where Kedarnath Temple is approximately 14 km away. You will have to trek this entire route to reach the temple and then come back. This is one of the best treks that not only devotees but even the adventure junkies love to do. This entire trek takes about 6-8 hours and there are a lot of resting points that are made on the way. Once you reach the temple, check in at the hotel and rest for a while. Do not forget to visit the temple during the evening aarti. Enjoy the divine and beautiful aura around the temple and positivity in the environment.

After the aarti, sit at the stairs, click some pictures and enjoy some time. Return to the hotel and sleep for some time after enjoying your dinner.

Time Taken: 30 mins (approximately)

Day 7 - Guptkashi: Heading back to Guptkashi

Wake up early so that you don't miss the Abhishek Puja at the temple. Enjoy the morning bliss after the puja. Have your breakfast and head to Gaurikund. Meet our representative there and go back to Guptkashi. Do not forget to take a dip at Gaurikund.

Day 8 - Badrinath: Head to your last Dham on this trip

This is the last Dham on your Chardham Yatra from Pune. Have your early breakfast, complete your check-out formalities, and head to Badrinath. Enjoy the view while you drive through Chamoli and Joshimath. Upon arrival, you will check in to the hotel and explore the town. There will be an overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 9 - Badrinath: Visiting the Badrinath Temple

Wake up early in the morning, have your breakfast, and leave for visiting the shrine of Lord Badrinath. Take a dip at the holy Tapt Kund and visit the temple after that. Visit the sacred shrines and other attractions around the temple. Return to your hotel after an eventful day. Have your dinner and get some sleep.

Day 10 - Haridwar: It's time to say Goodbye!

After an early breakfast, drive off to Haridwar with memories, souvenirs, and a lot of exciting moments. Complete all your check-out formalities and head to Haridwar from where you can go on your trip onward.
