Cochin – Periyar – Kumarakom – Mararikulam – Cochin.

Our representative will meet you on your arrival at Cochin and transfer you to the Casino Hotel on Willington Island. Check in and relax till the afternoon. Start your Kerala Beach Trip on a wonderful note with an enchanting Harbor cruise in the evening. Return to the hotel to spend the night.

After early breakfast, visit the famous Spice and Fish Market – one of Cochin’s major attractions. The afternoon is going to be a unique experience, wherby we will show you some interesting cooking procedures (especially of sea food), which will be followed by a presentation. You can yourself try preparing some of the exotic seafood variations. Overnight at hotel.

After breakfast, drive to the scenic destination of Periyar. Enjoy the natural beauty and idyllic charm at Periyar which also abounds in untamed wildlife and tea and spice plantations. Put up in the Spice Village and later we will take you for a boat ride on the enchanting Periyar Lake. Spend night at hotel.

The day begins with a sightseeing tour of Spice Village. The hospitable hotel staff will guide you through this tour, giving all the information about the various spices grown here. You can even avail the exclusive opportunity of learning to cook some traditional Kerala dishes. Return to the hotel for night stay.

After breakfast, drive towards Kumarakom, lying on the banks of Lake Vembanad. Upon reaching there, we will ferry you on a boat to the Coconut Lagoon resort, nestled beautifully amidst natural surroundings, and housing typical Kerala style homes – Tharawad. While staying in this exotic resort you can see for yourself the entire process of coconut plucking, right to its grating and thereafter, how it is used in cooking. Later we will take you for a wonderful boat cruise, whereby you watch the glorious sunset. Retire to the resort at night.

After breakfast, set out for a cruise and later visit a farmland. Here, you will get to watch the local people and fishermen from close quarters, their ways of life and the fishing processes. Enjoy the afternoon, marked by yet another pleasurable cooking session.

Have early breakfast and proceed for Puthenangadi on a boat cruise across the Lake Vembanad. After reaching Puthenangadi, check into hotel and then we will drive you to Marari Beach where you can spend the day as you wish to. Spend night at hotel.

Indulge in whatever you wish to do today. You can venture out to some local places in Coorg or you can even head for nearby trips to Bhagmandala, Telecauvery or Kakkabe. Don’t forget to try out the local cuisine, which is extremely tasty.

Today we will drive you to the famous forest lodge – Kabini River Lodge in Nagarhole. Spend the day idly, relaxing amidst the soothing ambience of the riverside.

After you check out, we will take you to the airport for departure and further journey ahead.
