After early breakfast we will take you for a sightseeing trip around Chennai city. Visit the historically important monuments of Kabalishwara Temple, Santhome Church, St. George Fort and Madras (Chennai) Museum. Return to hotel and spend overnight.

Begin the day with a trip to Kanchipuram – the city of temples. Visit historic temples like the Kailasanatha Temple, Vaikunda Perumal Temple, Varatharaja Temple and Ekambareswara Temple. All these are excellent specimens of the architectural splendor of the medieval period. Later, we will drive you to Mahabalipuram, where you can spend the night at a hotel.

Enjoy the entire day sightseeing in and around Mahabalipuram – famous for its ancient temples and beautiful beaches. We will visit major tourist destinations including Arjuna's Penance, Five Rathas, Shore Temple, Tiger Cave and Krishna's Butter Ball. Return to the hotel and spend the night.

Drive to Pondicherry, on the way visiting Auroville – an ideal township dedicated to human unity. Check into hotel after arrival and thereafter, pay a visit to the famous Aurobindo Ashram. Retire to the hotel to spend the night.

Today we will drive to Chidambaram and visit one of the most significant temples in South India - Nataraja Temple, dedicated to Lord Shiva. Later we will take you to temple cities of Gangai kondacholapuram, Kumbakonam and Darasuram. Reach Tanjore and stay overnight at hotel.

Go for a half-day sightseeing tour of Tanjore, wherein you will visit the architecturally beautiful Bragadeeshwara Temple, Art Gallery and Tanjore Palace. Afterwards, we will drive you to Trichy or Tiruchirapally where you will spend the night.

The day starts with a sightseeing trip around Trichy which will cover visits to the Srirangam Vishnu Temple and the Rock Fort Temple. Afterwards, drive to Madurai - home to the world-famous Meenakshi Temple. Check in at hotel and spend the night there.

Today, we will take you for a half-day sightseeing tour of Madurai, noted for the rich cultural heritage of its temples and palaces. Visit Meenakshi Temple, Thirumalai Nayak Palace and Mariamman Teppakulam. You are free to spend the afternoon as you wish. At night, watch the night ceremony at Menakshi Temple and thereafter, retire to the hotel.

Embark on a scenic drive to the Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary, one of the most fascinating natural wildlife reserves in the world. Check into resort once you reach. Later, you can go for an exciting boat ride along the waters of the Periyar Lake, or make a visit to the vast spice plantations of Periyar. Spend overnight at resort.

Today we will drive to Kottayam and upon reaching, board a private boat for an enchanting cruise to Alleppey through the crystal clear backwaters. From Alleppey we will drive you to Cochin – the vibrant city of ports and harbors. Stay overnight at Cochin.

Enjoy some sightseeing in Cochin with visits to important tourist places like Fort Cochin, Mattancherry Palace, Jew Town, Jewish Synagogue, Old Spice Markets, St. Francis Church and Chinese Fishing Nets. In the evening you can watch some enchanting Kathakali Dance program. Return to your hotel at night.
