Day 01 - Arrive - Delhi
Upon arrival at the Indira Gandhi International Airport Delhi, you will be met and escorted to the hotel for check-in and overnight.
Day 02 - Delhi - Agra - Delhi
On the 2nd day tour package of Tourism of India include a same day sightseeing excursion to Agra. Embark upon a full-day city tour of Taj Mahal, Agra Fort and Itamad Ud Daula's Tomb. The Taj Mahal, a gleaming white grandeur, was built by the 5th Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan in memory of his loving consort Mumtaz Mahal.
Built by Akbar, the Agra Fort was the seat of the Mughal Empire in the 16th century, and contains many palaces and a white marble mosque. Often called the "Baby Taj" thanks to it remarkable similarity to the Taj in respect of marble work, was built by the consort of Mughal Emperor Jehangir, Noor Jahan in memory of her father Ghiyas Beg.
Day 03 - Delhi - Bagdogra - Darjeeling
On the 3rd day you transfer to the airport to take a flight to Bagdogra. Proceed towards Darjeeling. Spend the rest of the day to adjust to the altitude. Situated at a height of 2,135 meter above the sea level, Darjeeling is one of the finest hill stations in India. Built among tea plantations, this appealing resort if the perfect retreat to escape the summer heat. The most famous landmark of Darjeeling is the "toy train" which meanders its way through the awesome valleys and verdant hills. Overnight stay at hotel in Darjeeling.
Day 04 - Darjeeling - Mirik - Darjeeling
On the morning of the 4th day take a full day tour to Mirik, another beautiful hill resort offering wonderful mountain views, a lake, tea plantations. Return to Darjeeling in the evening for overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 05 - Darjeeling
The things to do on the 5th day include an early morning excursion to the famous Tiger Hill. After taking lunch take a city tour covering Ghoom Monastery, H. M. I. Zoo and, last not the least, enjoy a train ride on the Toy Train, now a World Heritage Site. Overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 06 - Darjeeling - Pemayangtse
On the 6th day drive to Pemayangtse and transfer to the hotel. After checking in at the hotel, embark on a tour to the Yuksom Monastery. Overnights stay at the hotel.
Day 07 - Pemayangtse - Gangtok
On the 7th day drive to Gangtok and transfer to the hotel. Check in at the hotel and enjoy the beautiful mountain scenery at the place. Gangtok, the capital and only city of the state of northeastern state of Sikkim in India, is noted for its scenic grandeur. Overnight stay at hotel.
Day 08 - Gangtok - Rumtek - Gangtok
On the 8th day embark upon a full day excursion to the Rumtek Monastery. Return to Gangtok in the evening to stay overnight at hotel.
Day 09 - Gangtok
The 9th day tour package include enjoying the spectacular view of Tashiview Point in the morning, afternoon excursion to the Phudong Monastery. Overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 10 - Gangtok - Phuentsoling
On day 10th drive to Pheuntsoling, the border town of the enchanting land of Bhutan. Upon arrival check into hotel. Spend the evening enjoying the atmospherics of Pheuntsoling. Overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 11 - Phuentsoling
The 11th day tour package includes a full day exploration of the delights of the small and modern town of Phuentsoling. The frontier town of Phuentsoling with India is the gateway of Bhutan for overland travelers. A flourishing commercial center, Phuentsoling is a fascinating mixture of different ethnic groups.
Day 12- Pheuntsoling - Thimpu
On day 12th drive to Thimpu enjoying the scenic beauty of Himalayan country of Bhutan. En route have lunch at a cafeteria & proceed to the capital city of Thimpu. On arrival & check in into hotel. Overnight stay at hotel.
Situated in the center of Bhutan, Thimpu epitomize the country's endeavor to modernize while maintaining its age-old traditions.
Day 13 - Thimpu
On the morning of the 12th day, you are collected from your hotel for full day tour of Thimpu.
First, visit the Memorial Chorten (Stupa) built in memory of the third King of Bhutan who ruled the country from 1952-1972. Then arrive to the National Library to explore old manuscripts. Next visit the Institute of Arts and Crafts.
This afternoon, visit the Dechencholing Palace. Continue to the Handicrafts Emporium where Bhutanese textiles and other arts and crafts are on display and can be purchased. Overnight stay at hotel.
Day 14 - Thimpu - Wangdi / Punakha
On the morning of the 13th day, you drive to Punakha
En route, you will stop at Dochula Pass situated 3055 meters above the sea level. Take tea and light snacks and enjoy the most stunning view of the Eastern Himalayan mountain ranges which is however possible only on a clear day. Also visit the Druk Wangyel Chorten, a cluster of 108 Stupas occupying an entire hillock on the Dochula Pass. Continue to Wangdi Valley. 13km further is located Punakha an ancient capital of Bhutan. Afternoon excursion to Punakha Dzong, which lies between Phochu and Mochu rivers. Explore the local market in the evening. Overnight stay at hotel.
Day 15 - Punakha - Paro
On the early morning of the 14th day, you are collected from your hotel to transfer to Paro with an en route visit to Semtokha Dzong, the oldest Dzong in Bhutan. Visit the Dungtse and Kyichu temples in Paro. After taking lunch visit the national museum and the Pari Dzong. In the evening, explore the local market bazaar in Paro. Overnight stay at hotel.
Day 16 - Paro
On the early morning of the 14th day, you are collected from the hotel today for a full day excursion to Taktsang Monastery. The name Taktsang means "Tiger's Nest." perched on a rocky ledge, the Monastery overlooks the Paro River. Picnic lunch at Taktsang cafeteria.
Day 17 - Paro - Delhi
On the morning of the 16th day you are collected from your hotel by a Tourism of India representative and transferred to the Paro International Airport to board your flight to Delhi. On arrival transfer to the hotel. Spend afternoon in relaxation. Overnight stay at hotel.
Day 18 - Delhi
The 18th day tour package includes embarking on a full day city tour of Old and New Delhi.
The tour of the 17th-century old city includes the largest congregational mosque in India, Jama Masjid which is considered to be the final architectural extravagance of Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan. Stroll down the colorful shopping bazaar known as Chandni Chowk ("Moonlit Street"). Also visit the Red Fort. Drive past Raj Ghat, the cremation site of Mahatma Gandhi.
The tour of New Delhi includes the Humayun's Tomb, the forerunner of the Taj Mahal. Drive down the impressive Rajpath ("the Kingsway"), passing the India Gate (the memorial built in memory of the soldiers who lost their life during then world war I), the Rashtrapati Bhawan (the President's House) and the Parliament House. Enjoy a brief reprieve from the otherwise bustling city at Birla Mandir, a modern and colorful Hindu temple. Transfer to airport for your international homebound flight.
