Museums in Goa
Introduction
A symbiosis of East and West, of colonial rule and an age-old tradition, of a history of invasion and settlement, Goa has too many stories to tell. However, most of the museums in Goa, are a Post Potugese Era venture marking the recognition of Goa as a separate entity and also, an effort to boost up the tourism industry already on the boom because of its stunning natural beauty. Though the museums in Goa are not much of a crowd puller compared to its beaches, dropping in to some of them can be rewarding experience and a break from the intoxicating beauty at the beach.
